Dear Kickstart students,
In order to minimise the risk of spreading the Corona Virus (Covid 19) as much as possible, we are going to comply with the advice given by the Dutch Government at all times. At the moment the only advice given is to practise diligent hygiene.
Additionally, we recommend the following:
If you have a fever and/or respiratory complaints (coughing or shortness of breath) and have visited a country/region with a high spread of the coronavirus such as China, Singapore, South Korea, Iran or North Italy (see the RIVM website), we strongly advise you not to attend your classes. Please contact your family doctor by telephone. Also let the Kickstart Administration know about the reason for your absence and check KickstartNet to keep up with your classwork and homework.
We advise you to do the following:
1. Wash your hands regularly with soap and dry them with paper towels or kitchen roll.
2. Cough and sneeze in the inside of your elbow
3. Use paper handkerchiefs and dispose of them immediately (do not leave them on the table)
If needs be, Kickstart is prepared for the next term (April - July 2020). Should there be a government measure that stipulates that schools should no longer be visited, Kickstart can give lessons via the online Zoom portal. A student can install this application free of charge on his/her laptop, phone or tablet and follow the lessons together with the other students from home. When the risk has passed, the lessons will be resumed in the classroom again.
